Gets minor changes to the interior and exterior, engine remains the same.
Suzuki showcased the Swift XTRA Edition at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car is a limited edition available exclusively in Germany.
On the outside, the car gets several distinct touches to make it stand out from the standard model. The front has a two-slat chrome finished grille and L-shaped LED DRLs. The sides gain 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, blackened A- and B-pillars, ‘XTRA’ lettering on the doors and darkened rear windows. The rear strikes a sporty impression with the tailgate-mounted spoiler. The body comes in three colors which are Amethyst Grey Pearl Metallic, Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic, and Cool White Pearl Metallic.
Stepping inside, the three spoke multi-function steering wheel is wrapped in leather and has violet contrast stitching. This stitching also extends to the gear shift boot and the seats. The cabin also gets features such as air conditioning with pollen filter, audio system with MP3 and CD compatibility as well as cruise control.
The XTRA edition does not get any mechanical changes. Under the hood, it is still powered by the 1.2-liter four cylinder petrol engine pushing out 94 hp at 6,000 rpm and 118 Nm of peak torque kicking in at 4,800 rpm. Drive is sent to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
