BMW released a video teasing its new cars that will have their Indian debut at the Auto Expo 2016 to be held from 3rd to 9th February. The video teases the 2016 BMW 7 Series, 2016 BMW X1 and the 2016 BMW 3 Series (facelift), all three of which will go on sale this year.

2016 BMW 7 Series:
The 2016 BMW 7 Series is the sixth generation of BMW's flagship sedan and is based on the rear-wheel drive CLAR (Cluster Architecture) modular platform. The all-new model was unveiled in June last year with 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol engine, 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engine and a 4.4-litre TwinPower Turbo V8 petrol engine. Both 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engines could be offered in India. An 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission will be standard.
2016 BMW X1:
The 2016 BMW X1 is the second generation of the German automaker's entry-level crossover and is based on the front-wheel drive UKL (Untere Klasse) modular platform. It was announced in June last year with petrol and diesel engines with three- and four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines in 1.5- and 2.0-litre displacements. The new X1 will rival the Mercedes GLA and Audi Q3.
2016 BMW 3 Series:
The 2016 BMW 3 Series is the facelift of the sixth generation of the company's Audi A4-rival. Along with the updated styling, the facelift introduced a new 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 326 PS and 450 Nm of torque. The turbocharger of the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine of the BMW 320d has been updated for a 'sharper' response. The 8-speed automatic transmission has also been updated, for better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.
