Following the Tata Zica, the company’s next big product is the Tata Nexon compact SUV.

He said:

We have lots of gaps in our portfolio. Naturally, these have to be filled. We have a road map to fill these gaps. Going forward, you will see two new products from us every year.

Mr Pareek has also confirmed that Tata Motors will launch a compact SUV as well as hinted at a large SUV for the near future, which are likely to be the production-spec Tata Nexon and Tata Hexa. The Tata Nexon is currently undergoing testing and is expected to be revealed at the Auto Expo 2016, followed by a launch later that year.

Other initiatives to raise Tata’s market share include expanding its sales network. Tata ended the last fiscal year with a total of 500 dealerships across India. In the next 4 years, the company plans to triple that number to 1500, of which as many as 200 outlets will be opened in the current fiscal.
