The Kawasaki Z125 Pro was showcased at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo earlier this month. The all-new motorcycle was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show towards the end of October.
Expected to be launched in the coming months, the Kawasaki Z125 Pro will be the first direct rival to the Honda Grom MSX125. It will be available in two variants - the Kawasaki Z125 and the Kawasaki Z125 Pro. The former gets a 4-speed automatic gearbox while the Pro gets a 4-speed manual transmission.
Other than the gearbox, both the variants are identical. They are powered by a horizontally-oriented 125 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 9.5 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 9.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.
