Monocoque platform pickup has a 1,000 kg payload.
New images of the production Fiat Toro pick-up for the Latin American market has surfaced online. It's expected to reach Brazilian showrooms from Q1 2016, and the model has already been revealed by FCA Brazil.
The exterior has sleek pilot lamps separated from main headlamps, which flow into the dual-slat chrome grille. The lower bumper has chrome-trimmed enclosures in top variants and a silver skid plate.
It sits on top-end 18-inch alloy wheels, and features black plastic body cladding around the wheel arches and side skirts for extra ruggedness. Also seen are a pair of large roof rails and ORVMs with turn indicators. The rear end has sleek wraparound taillamps, large Fiat logo, and a barn-style tailgate.

The Fiat Toro will be offered with a choice between two engines: a 1.8 16v E-Torq Flex petrol engine and 2.0 16v Multijet turbo diesel. The former produces 138 bhp and is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the latter delivers 170 bhp through a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. A 4×4 drivetrain is only available in the turbodiesel variant.
