Benelli TNT 25 ABS would take a year to be launched.
The DSK Benelli TNT 600i will get an ABS version in six to eight months, and the DSK Benelli TNT 25 ABS will be launched later. The former is already being tested locally.
This information was revealed by Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, during the launch of the Benelli TNT 25 in Pune, today. He added that the company is working on setting up a new plant in Pune.
The Benelli TNT 25 is the sixth motorcycle in the brand's Indian lineup which is the new entry-level model. It is powered by a new 249 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 28.16 bhp of maximum power at 9,800 rpm and 20.61 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission.

The TNT 25 competes with the Mahindra Mojo in terms of price. While the Mahindra Mojo ABS is planned to be launched in April, the TNT 25 ABS would take around a year to be released. The ABS version of either models could be pricier by INR 25,000.
