The new Innova could make its Indian debut at the Auto Expo.
Toyota Astra Motor and its dealer have showcased the 2016 Toyota Innova at the GIIAS Surabaya Auto Show 2015 that took place in Java, Indonesia, from December 9 to December 13.
The second-gen Innova launched in Indonesia last month has dimensions of 4,735 mm, 1,830 mm and 1,795 mm in length, width and height respectively. It boasts of a 2,750 mm wheelbase that provides for a more spacious cabin. The exterior gets LED projector headlamps, 16-inch alloys and inverted L-shaped tail lights.
On the inside, the model gets a 7-inch touchscreen display, dual-zone climate control, multi-function steering wheel, leather upholstery, ambient LED lighting and smart entry key. On the safety front, the 2016 Innova features ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, driver knee airbag, curtain airbag, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Assist Control (HAC) and rear parking sensors.
The new Innova comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The diesel unit is a 2.4-liter 1GD-FTV inline four cylinder engine producing 149 PS and 360 Nm with the automatic transmission. The petrol mill is a 2.0-liter VVT-i Dual 1TR-FE four cylinder generating 139 PS and 183 Nm of peak torque output at 4,000 rpm. Both engines can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

While the company has not commented on the new model, it is reported that TKM will put the new Innova on display at the Auto Expo 2016.
