The 2016 CLA will carryover the changes from the facelifted 2015 Mercedes A Class that was launched in India this month. It will get Multibeam LED headlamps, sleek LED DRL strips, redesigned front bumper, updated LED taillight clusters, and new exhaust tips.
Inside, the new Mercedes CLA will feature a revised 8-inch freestanding COMAND infotainment display that will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Also part of the facelift could be new interior color options, new dashboard trim and slightly updated buttons.

As for the engine lineup, the CLA will borrow the revised engines from the new Mercedes A Class. In the A Class, power has been bumped by 7 hp in the A250 and A220d variants. As for the CLA 45 AMG, Mercedes has already re-tuned the engine, and now produces 381 PS and 475 Nm from the 2.0-liter turbo engine. Power is sent through either a 6-speed manual or a 7G-DCT dual clutch transmission to the front wheels or all wheels via the 4MATIC system.
The 2016 Mercedes CLA could be introduced in India towards the end of next year.
