Current production rate is around 5,000 units/annum.
According to a report on Autocar India, the Mahindra TUV300 has bagged over 12,000 bookings since its launch on September 10. Interestingly, over 50 percent of customers have opted for the AMT variant, Dr. Pawan Goenka, executive director, Mahindra & Mahindra told the publication.
The TUV300 is powered by the mHawk 80 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel engine which develops 84 bhp (81 bhp in case of the AMT variant) and 230 Nm of torque. Both, manual and AMT variants of the compact SUV claim a fuel efficiency of 18.49 km/l. Mahindra is currently producing around 5,000 units of the TUV300 each month.
The AMT is offered on the T6 and T8 variants of the TUV300, which are equipped with dual front airbags, ABS and EBD. On the top-end T8, Mahindra offers additional features like alloy wheels, static bending headlights, a 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and the Mahindra BlueSense App, reverse parking sensors, steering mounted audio controls, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, keyless entry and a rear wiper/washer.

The TUV300 is priced from INR 6.98 lakhs to INR 8.48 lakhs for the manual variants and between INR 8.6 lakhs to INR 9.2 lakhs for the AMT variant, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
At the moment, the Ford EcoSport remains the closest competitor to the TUV300.
