Radikal reports that Kuralkan Holdings, the authorised distributor of Bajaj in Turkey, has launched the Bajaj Pulsar AS150 at TRY 6,990 which is equivalent to INR 1.58 lakhs. The AS150 is being manufactured in India at Bajaj Auto’s plant in Chakan near Pune, and is being exported to the eastern European market. The Pulsar AS150 is powered by a new 150 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine fuelled by a carburetor. It produces 17 PS of maximum power and 13 Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is equipped with a standard front fork, a monoshock on swing arm, a disc brake upfront and a conventional drum brake at the rear.
The notable features include a half-fairing upfront that houses a 55W projector head lamp for low beam and a 55W halogen lamp in a multi-reflector housing for high beam, an analog tachometer, a digital instrument panel with the readings of speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter and a clock.
The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is offered in Turkey in three colours – red, blue and black.
