World debut expected to take place on November 23.
Yet another image of the 2016 Toyota Innova has found its way on the internet, ahead of the MPV's reported market debut on November 23. This time, the 2016 Innova shows its ambient lighting and roof mounted AC controls.
It is interesting to note that the roof mounted AC controls on the 2016 Innova are not the typical knobs/levers found on the current generation model, or even on competitor models. Instead, they feature a digital screen and buttons for what looks like the secondary automatic climate control system. This would be a first on the Innova, and first in segment feature.
To recap, the 2016 Toyota Innova will be offered with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and a 2.4-liter diesel engine for the Indonesian market. Both engine variants will get a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, and will be offered in three variants - G, V and Q.

Standard features on the 2016 Innova will include ABS, EBD, three airbags (dual front+driver's knee) and 16-inch alloy wheels. On the top-end 'Q' diesel, the MPV will be shod with 17-inch alloys, again a first on the Innova.
