Likely to get two TFSI engine options in Pakistan.
According to a report on Pakwheels, deliveries of the 2016 Audi A4 will start from February 2016 in Pakistan. The publication states that prices of the B9 A4 are expected to start from PKR 5.8 million (INR 36.19 lakhs), and that two engine options would be offered.
For the Pakistani market, the 2016 A4 is likely to be powered by the new 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine, which develops 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission or a S-Tronic 7-speed unit for international markets. The second engine choice for Pakistan could be a 1.4-liter TFSI engine delivering 150 PS, the publication notes.
Based on the MLB Evo platform, the 2016 A4 is lighter than the outgoing model by 120 kg despite being longer in overall length and wheelbase. The exterior is characterized by the Singleframe 6-point grille, Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights, while the interior gets a new 8.3-inch MMI touch interface, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit display, a Bang&Olufsen 3D surround system and Audi's phone-box with wireless charging.
