Land Rover has revealed that the Range Rover Sport SVR is priced in India at INR 2,03,60,606 (ex-showroom, Mumbai, pre-Octroi). The fastest Range Rover variant has been on sale in India since November 2014, a JLR spokesperson told Indian Autos Blog, though this is the first time that the company has listed it on its media pricing bulletin.

The performance-oriented SUV has been available on a made-to-order basis, from JLR’s Special Operations division. It is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 petrol engine capable of 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Land Rover’s four-wheel drive system, which accelerate the SUV from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to an electronically limited top-speed of 259.2 km/h.

Around Germany’s iconic Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Range Rover Sport SVR managed a time of 8 minutes and 14 seconds, which at that time (August 2014) gave it the title of the quickest SUV around the circuit.
