Dacia Duster Steel launched in Europe – IAB Report

Dacia has announced the launch of two new limited editions of the Dacia Duster and Dacia Sandero for the European markets. Dubbed as the Dacia Duster Steel and Dacia Sandero Music, they feature exclusive cosmetic and equipment upgrades.

Dacia Duster Steel front three quarter unveiled

Based on the Duster Lauréate variant, the Dacia Duster Steel comes with Dark Metal mirrors and satin chrome appliqués on the skid plates and roof rails.  The model rides on diamond-effect alloy wheels, and has a single chrome-finished exhaust tip and tinted rear windows.

Inside, the only upgrades are a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and a 7 inch MEDIA-NAV Evolution infotainment system.

Dacia Duster Steel interior unveiled

No mechanical changes are introduced under the hood. Customers can choose between three variants: TCe 125 (petrol), a dCi 90 and a dCi 110. Transmission options include five- or six-speed manual gearboxes, while an AWD system is optional in the dCi 110 and TCe 125 variants.

Dacia Sandero Music

As for the Dacia Sandero Music edition, it is based on the regular Sandero Ambiance variant and comes with an exclusive Focal Music Drive audio system, cruise control and power-operated front windows. Engine lineup includes the same 1.2-liter 16V with 75 PS, a TCe 90 and a dCi 90, which are only available with a five-speed manual transmission.

Prices start at EUR 9,550 (INR 7.01 Lakhs) for the Dacia Sandero Music and EUR 16,600 (INR 12.19 Lakhs) for the Dacia Duster Steel.
