Following the brochure leak, here are the technical specifications of the 2016 Toyota Innova.
The 2016 Toyota Innova will measure 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,795 mm in height and 2,750 mm in wheelbase.
The petrol engine powering the 2016 Innova is a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC with Dual VVT-i capable of 139 PS at 5,600 rpm and 18.7 kgm of torque at 4,700 rpm. The more important diesel engine is the all-new 2.4-liter GD engine with VNT Intercooler churning 149 PS at 3,400 rpm and 36.7 kgm of torque on the AT variant and 34.9 kgm of torque on the MT variants. Both fuel types are available with a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 2016 Innova will use a Double Wishbone with coil spring and stabilizer up front and a 4-link with coil spring and lateral road suspension at the rear. All variants of the MPV get 205/65 R16 tyres, save for the top-end 'Q' variant with the diesel engine, which rides on 215/65 R17 wheels.
All variants of the 2016 Innova get an Anti-theft system, door ajar warning, rear parking sensors, ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and driver knee airbag as standard. On the top-end 'Q' model, the Innova will also offer curtain airbags, VSC and HAC in addition to the above mentioned features.
The 2016 Innova will be available for the Indonesian market in 6 color options.
