Available in two trim levels: Expression and Dynamique.
Renault has launched the facelifted 2016 Renault Sandero Stepway in Mexico, starting from MXN 196,600 (INR 7.63 lakhs) for the entry-level Expression trim and MXN 211,600 (INR 8.21 lakhs) for the Stepway Dynamique.
Exported from Renault-SOFASA plant in Envigado, Colombia, the 2016 Renault Stepway features a larger Renault lozenge, chrome inserts for the grille, updated headlamps, new bumpers with a silver skid plate, wrap-around taillamps and new windshield. It rides on 16-inch alloy rims, and comes with roof rails, turn-indicators on the ORVMs and black-plastic cladding for the wheel arches.
The interior has also been updated. It now comes with orange accents, piano black center console, new seat upholstery, a 7-inch MEDIANAV touchscreen display, and connectivity with Apple devices. As for safety features, it offers ABS on all four wheels, dual airbags, and reverse parking sensors.
Power is sourced from a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 105 hp and 148 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is capable of returning a fuel mileage of 16.6 km/l, which is aided by a Gear-shift indicator and an Eco Mode.
