Navara will be offered in a sole double-cab body style.
Paultan has managed to obtain the brochure of the upcoming Malaysian-spec 2016 Nissan NP300 Navara, suggesting that the launch is nearing.
Local authorized distributor, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), will launch the 2016 Nissan NP300 Navara in a sole double-cab body style, according to the leaked brochure.
The new NP300 Navara will offer a host of segment-first features like LED headlamps with LED DRLs, zero gravity-inspired seats, rear HVAC vents and multi-link live axle rear suspension. It also comes with an ‘Intelligent Key’ with push-start capabilities, 18-inch alloy wheels, Advance Drive Assist Display (ADAD) and automatic dual-zone climate control.
Safety features include Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), four-wheel active brake limited slip (ABLS), traction control, hill start assist (HSA) and hill descent control (HDC).
Under the hood, the Navara sources power from the 2.5 litre YD25DDTi four-cylinder turbodiesel engine capable of 190 PS at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The brochure also states that the engine is paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox, which is another segment-first.
