A new variant will be launched.
On the 2016 Ford EcoSport, Ford India will introduce a new Trend+ variant, and rename the Titanium (O) as the Titanium+. Here's what the variant+engine lineup looks like:
- 1.5L Ti-VCT Petrol MT: Ambiente, Trend, Titanium
- 1.5L Ti-VCT Petrol AT: Titanium AT
- 1.0L EcoBoost Petrol MT: Trend+, Titanium+
- 1.5L TDCi Diesel MT: Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium, Titanium+
2016 Ford EcoSport Ambiente: In addition to the older model, 12V power socket up front and 100% rear seat-back fold-down
2016 Ford EcoSport Trend: In addition to the older model, ABS and EBD
2016 Ford EcoSport Trend+: In addition to Trend, dual front airbags, automatic climate control, distance to empty, outside temperature display, econometer, average speed, average fuel efficiency, foglights, chrome grille, silver painted roof rails, headlights with Signature lightguide
2016 Ford EcoSport Titanium: In addition to older model, Smart Keyless entry with push button start
2016 Ford EcoSport Titanium AT: No changes, continues with side and curtain airbags, Hill Assist, EBA, ESC and TCS etc.
2016 Ford EcoSport Titanium+: In addition to older model, Automatic wipers, automatic headlights, non-LED daytime running lights, interior chrome pack (inner door handles, cluster rings, cluster applique, tips on power window switches and AC regulator), leather-wrapped handbrake, electrochromatic inner rear view mirror

As mentioned earlier, the 2016 EcoSport TDCi diesel is retuned to produce 100 PS and 205 Nm of torque, with an accompanying dip in fuel efficiency by 0.4 km/l.
