Launched on September 10.
Constant Business Group, the authorized distributor of Ssangyong in Nepal, is showcasing the Ssangyong Tivoli at the 2015 NADA Auto Show in the country, following its launch this month. It’s only available as a petrol variant, and is priced at NPR 5,350,000 (INR 33.3 Lakhs).
Under the hood is a 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 124 bhp and 157 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while an automatic gearbox is not offered. Also not offered in the Nepal-spec Tivoli is an AWD system. In the Korean market, the mileage is rated at 12.3 km/l for the Tivoli equipped with the manual gearbox.
The Tivoli was launched in the Korean and European markets earlier this year, and measures 4,195 mm long, 1,795 mm wide, and 1,590 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. It is based on a new monocoque platform, and 71.4 percent of the Tivoli’s body is made of high-strength steel (HSS).
The Nepal-spec Tivoli comes with projector headlamps and LED DRLs, a standard music system with bluetooth connectivity and USB/AUX ports, cruise control, steering mounted controls, power windows and rear defogger.
