These photographs, sent in by reader Abhishek Joshi, is presumed to be of the mid-variant of the TUV300 as the multi-function steering wheel teased, is not the unit on this mule.
The interior is a dual tone black and beige, and is fitted with a manual air conditioner. The HVAC dials have chrome lining, while a small cavity is observed above the central AC vent. There is no touchscreen unit, while the mirrors need manual adjusting.
The center tunnel is not out of the ordinary, with a simple parking brake lever, and power window switches grouped adjacent to it. This is a clever cost saving measure employed by the Renault Logan and the Tata Nano. Storage solutions appear to have been given special attention as the central tunnel has two spots for knick-knacks, a cell phone compartment near the gear level and bottle holders on the doors, are visible. Models which don't get the audio system, use that space to provide two more storage opportunities.
The teaser image of the top-end TUV300 variant shows the same steering wheel but with a silver garnish on the spokes, and controls for the audio and bluetooth telephony. The instrument dials are also seen getting chrome bezels.

The TUV300 is Mahindra's second compact utility vehicle, and is based on a new platform. Mahindra said at the brand launch that it would feature a new three-cylinder mHawk 80 diesel engine. Four-wheel drive would not be available, but an AMT system has been spotted on test prototype. What is also clear from spyshots is the car's 5+2 seating configuration.
