Will retain the same engines.
The 2016 Chevrolet Cobalt sedan has been spotted testing yet again, ahead of its reported market launch in Brazil in October. The latest pictures come from Autos Segredos readers Roger Carvalho and Douglas Espinosa.
The front view (not clear in these spyshots) gets revisions to the headlight, hood and fenders with the radiator grille being a two-piece unit similar to the one on the Chevrolet Cruze. The rear will receive a re-profiled and elongated tail light cluster. Not much is known about the interiors except that it will get new seat upholstery and the MyLink II infotainment system.
Under the hood, the 1.4-liter unit paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox will be upgraded with minor power and torque increase, while the other engine, the 1.8-liter mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, will soldier on, it is reported.
More information is sure to trickle in before the car’s launch in October.
