2016 Audi S4 – 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show Live

Packs a new 3.0 V6 TFSI engine.

Audi has added the performance-oriented 2016 Audi S4 Sedan and S4 Avant to latest A4 lineup at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt.It comes with features exclusive to the Audi S4, and packs a new 3.0 V6 TFSI engine under the hood.

It is capable of producing 354 PS and 500 Nm of torque, which is sent through a new eight-speed tiptronic transmission to the standard quattro AWD system with a self-locking center differential. The downsized engine has more power than outgoing model, whilst being lighter and more fuel efficient.

This enables the 2016 Audi S4 Sedan to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). It is also capable of returning a fuel mileage of 7.4 liters/100 km  ich and 170 g/km of CO2 emissions.

The exterior of the 2016 Audi S4 isn’t very different to the regular A4. Noticeable features include matte silver ORVM caps, exclusive 5-spoke 19 inch rims, quad exhaust tips, boot spoiler, silver diffuser and red-painted brake calipers. The suspension is tuned for better handling, and is lowered by 23 mm.

Inside, it comes sport seats with pearl Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery, illuminated door sill trims with the “S4” logo, optional 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit Display instrument cluster available in the regular variants. LED headlights are standard, while the innovative Matrix LED headlights, head-up display and a tailgate sensor control are optional.
