A couple of days after launching the 2015 Ford Figo hatchback in India, Ford has done the same in Nepal. It has been launched in the country with a price tag of NPR 21,99,000 (INR 13,72,579) and will be available in a total of 6 trims - Base, Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+.
The Figo hatchback measures 3,886 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,525 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,491 mm with a ground clearance of 174 mm as well as luggage capacity of 257 liters.
Ford says the interior has 20 unique storage spaces and the rear seats can be folded flat to offer even more capacity. The Figo comes with Ford’s SYNC with AppLink that is displayed on a 4.2-inch screen allowing users to connect their mobile phones and control certain functions such as phone, entertainment and apps using voice commands.
The base variant of the Figo gets driver airbags as standard while other variants offer dual front airbags, this increases to a total of six airbags on the top-end trim. ABS, EBD, ESP, automatic climate control and electrically adjustable side mirrors are some of the other features.
The new Figo hatchback comes with two petrol and a diesel engine, a 1.2-liter producing 88 PS and 112 Nm and paired to a 5-speed manual, and a 1.5-liter generating 112 PS and 136 Nm mated exclusively to the 6-speed Powershift automatic gearbox, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 100 PS and 215 Nm delivering power through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Figo hatch can be opted for in seven colours - Oxford White, Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Deep Impact Blue, Tuxedo Black, Smoke Grey and Ingot Silver.
