Hyundai Xcent gets ABS as standard across all trims.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has updated the feature list of the Hyundai Xcent and Eon. While the sub-4m Xcent sedan gets more equipment as standard in lower trim levels, the Hyundai Eon loses out on some features.
The Hyundai Xcent gets ABS as standard across all trims, including the Xcent Base and S, while the S(O) trim features dual airbags up front and a reverse parking camera with a display integrated in the rear view mirror. Higher up the range, the Hyundai Xcent SX is reportedly discontinued, whereas no features updates have been reported for the top-of-the-line SX(O) trim.
In the Hyundai Eon, however, the company has deleted some features in D-Lite+ and Era+ trims. For instance, the D-Lite+ trim level replaces body colored bumpers and chrome grille with a black-plastic bumper set and a body-colored grille, respectively. The Hyundai Eon Era+ trim only loses out on central locking. The equipment list in other trims remain the same.

This is not the first time Hyundai updated the feature list of its offerings. The company had also deleted some features from the Hyundai Elite i20, whilst the prices remained the same. Reports suggest that it was to accommodate a touchscreen system without affecting its competitive price to a good extent.
Hyundai hasn't yet disclosed the prices of the Eon and Xcent with the revised feature list.
