The sequence of Lexus LX 570 spyshots and leaks has come to an end with the reveal of the SUV at Pebble Beach this week.
The front end gets bolder with the single-piece spindle grille now outlined in satin chrome. Other revisions to the exterior include LED headlights, new turn indicators, fog lamps, tail lights and front & rear bumpers. The new wheels can now be optioned in 20- and 21-inch sizes.
On the inside, the cabin gets a three-spoke wood-trimmed steering wheel, manual second-row sunshades and LED ambient lighting. The 2016 LX 570 gets a larger 12.3-inch navigation screen, bigger 4.2-inch instrument cluster, panoramic view camera and multimedia with Remote Touch Interface.
The Lexus Safety System+ comes standard and brings loads of safety technologies like Lane Departure Alert, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Intelligent High Beam.
A wide array of optional extras can be had with the Luxury package that consists of larger 11.6-inch screens for Rear Seat Entertainment System, ventilated/heated rear seats, wireless charging tray for Qi-compatible phones, Lexus Enform Remote and Lexus Enform Service Connect.
Engine powering the facelift will be the same 5.7-liter V8 providing 383 bhp and 546 Nm of torque. However the old six-speed transmission has been replaced with a new eight-speed unit that also carries forward the Drive Mode Select function.
