When the Honda Civic Concept was unveiled at the 2015 New York Motor Show, Honda had confirmed that the tenth generation 2016 Honda Civic sedan will spawn a Coupe, an Si, a 5-door model, and a new Civic Type-R.
Spotted here is the 5-door notchback bodystyle of the tenth generation Honda Civic in Spain. Although it features the grille and headlamps from the Acura ILX, it is expected to get the new “Flying H” grille design flanked by optional LED headlamps and a sporty lower fascia design.
Coming to the back, it adopts notchback body-style with taillamps similar to the Civic Concept, and, surprisingly, a trio of exhaust tips located in the center. Reports speculate that this prototype is testing the performance-oriented components for the Si and Type R variants.
