All Sportster models get new seats, suspension among other upgrades.
Harley Davidson India today launched Dark Custom models of three of its products sold in the country. The American manufacturer also revealed some of its 2016 models for the Indian market. Enhancements have been given to the Iron 883, Forty-Eight, and Street 750. No changes in prices have been notified.
The Iron 883 and the Forty-Eight get the 'High Output Twin Cam 103' that provide a bump in power. Upgrades have also been given to the Heritage Softail Classic in the form of standard electronic cruise control, new and improved saddlebag support structure, along with the Twin Cam update.
The Road King has returned to the market and the Iron 883 gets all-new front and rear adjustable suspension setup, light-weight mag wheels, and improved seating. The Forty-Eight gets a burly front tire and front-end forks that have been increased to 49 mm. The popular Street 750, meanwhile, gets improved front and rear braking systems.
All 2016 Sportster models get an all-new front and rear suspension setup, improved seats, re-engineered Sportster suspension that houses a progressive-rate spring pre-load, which can be adjusted by the rider using a spanner that stows away under the seat.
