Design changes will also be seen in the Maruti Ertiga soon.
PT Indomobil Suzuki has launched the facelifted 2015 Suzuki Ertiga at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (2015 GIIAS) today. It previews the design changes in store for the Maruti Ertiga, which could launch during the festive season.
The facelifted Ertiga gets a bolder triple-slat chrome grille, new bumper design with chrome bezels for the fog lamp housing, and a re-designed radiator grille. While the side profile remains identical, the rear end sports a new chrome garnish above the registration plate, rear parking sensors and extended taillamp reflectors.
Inside, changes include a 50:50 split for the third row seats, new dark brown colour for certain parts like the steering wheel and gear stalk, and new fabric upholstery. The company says that it has improved the noise and vibration insulation. As for equipment, Suzuki have added power-folding ORVMs, Auto Up power window in the drivers side, optional socket console box in the second row, dual airbags and ABS.
Powering the 2015 Suzuki Ertiga is the same 1.4-liter K-Series (K14B) VVT petrol engine that has been detuned by 3 PS to produce 92 PS power and 130 Nm of peak torque. It will continue offering a 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed automatic transmission.
The new Ertiga will launch in GA, GL and GX variants and the seven exterior colours are Lilac Gray Metallic (developed exclusively for the Indonesian market), Snow White Pearl, Cool Black Pearl, Silky Silver Metallic, Burgundy Red Pearl, Radiant Red Pearl Metallic and Graphite Gray.
