According to sources of Autobild Indonesia, Daihatsu dealerships have begun accepting pre-orders for the facelifted 2015 Daihatsu Xenia. It is expected to be revealed alongside the 2015 Toyota Grand New Avanza at the 2015 GIIAS on August 20. Deliveries will, reportedly, begin from the end of August.
Basically a rebadged Toyota Avanza, the facelifted Xenia features a re-worked front-end that sports a larger grille with chrome inserts (depending on trim), a sportier lower fascia with LED DRL strips, and new alloy rim designs. At the back, it gets an updated cluster design for the taillamps, and a chrome embellishment above the registration plate area.
Like the exterior, the interior of the 2015 Daihatsu Xenia is largely identical to its Toyota sibling, save for the Daihatsu badge and dashboard color combination. It comes standard with rear HVAC vents and, while a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system will be offered for the range-topping Type R Sport trim.
