Will only sell the S-Cross to begin with.
Maruti today launched its premium range of Nexa dealerships, with the first outlet having been inaugurated in New Delhi. The car maker aims to introduce 100 Nexa outlets throughout the country this financial year, which will only sell high-end Maruti products.
To begin with, Nexa will only sell the S-Cross crossover, which launches in the country on August 5, 2015, reportedly. However, Maruti officials confirmed that more products will be added to this showroom, which may include the new premium hatchback codenamed YRA, and the sub-4 meter YBA compact SUV.
Nexa aims to offer a premium purchase experience, with suitably appointed showroom design, sales consultants with experience and training in the hospitality sector, and a digital approach being used in the buying process: iPads and wall-mounted LCDs will allow customers to take a look at the car, and how it stacks up with the competition.
The showroom opts for a black and white theme, as Maruti wants only the car present inside to be in color. A dedicated area inside the showroom will also handle customer deliveries.

The sales consultants will act like bank relationship managers, wherein customers can approach the same consultant for all aspects in the buying and aftersales process including finance, accessory fitment, scheduling services etc.
