Honda UK have released the official specs, variants, and pricing of the Honda HR-V crossover, which was last showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It will be available in 4 variants: S, SE, SE Navi and EX.
The basic Honda HR-V S model features 16-inch alloy wheels, DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, climate control, and parking sensors at both ends. The Honda HR-V SE variant upgrades the alloys to 17-inch sets, and comes equipped with a dual-zone climate control, automatic lights and wipers, and Honda’s 7-inch touchscreen Connect infotainment system.
The Honda HR-V SE Navi adds satellite navigation, while the top-level Honda HR-V EX models throws in keyless entry and start, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, rear-view camera, heated seats and LED interior lighting.
Power for the HR-V will come from a choice between a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel. The former delivers 130 PS at 6,600 rpm and 155 Nm at 4,600 rpm, while the latter produces 120 PS at 4,000 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.
The diesel-powered model is capable of returning up to 24.99 km/l (UK cycle) with CO2 emissions of 104 g/km. Both engines are paired to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, while the petrol model also offers an optional CVT gearbox.
