Likely to be sold as a CBU in India.
Instagram user @Hamad1two3 strikes again. Following the spyshots of both the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser and 2016 Lexus LX uncovered, he has now posted images of the former's rear end as well as the interior.
The new images give a better look at the LED cluster design for the taillamps, as well as the white exterior color, which is the most preferred color choice in the Middle East. As revealed earlier, the front end features a bolder chrome grille, redesigned headlight enclosures with LED lamps, a chrome bumper guard with the ‘Land Cruiser’ nameplate embellished, and chrome fog lamp enclosures.
The interior of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser has been snapped for the first time in the metal, revealing a new center console design, a larger touchscreen infotainment display with no buttons on either side, and a redesigned floor console with an updated gear selector.
Under the hood, the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser will offer a 5.7-liter Dual VVT-i V8 petrol engine developing 362 hp and 540 Nm of torque channeling it through a 6-speed automatic transmission, a 4.6-liter V8 petrol, a 4.5-liter V8 diesel, and, reportedly, a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine from the new "GD" family, which was recently deployed on the UK-spec Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
