New showroom to be inaugurated in Bengaluru this October.
Ducati India Pvt. Ltd. held its first press conference today, and unveiled two new variants of the Scrambler. Mr. Pierfrancesco Scalzo, Ducati Asia General Manager for Sales and Marketing, and Mr. Ravi Avalur, Marketing Director for Ducati India Pvt. Ltd. outlined the company's plans.
The Italian bike manufacturer is present in the country through dealerships and service centers in New Delhi NCR and Mumbai, the former being the largest showroom for Ducati in the world. Going forth, the brand will open a center in Bengaluru by October 2015, followed by dealerships in other metropolitan cities such as Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Cochin, Chandigarh, Goa and Jaipur. Ducati will also launch the new Multistrada in India in October.
The brand also unveiled the new Scrambler Full Throttle and the Scrambler Classic, though the prices for these variants were not announced. Prices for the Scrambler range in India, which starts with the Icon model, starts at INR 6.77 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

Ducati's range in India includes the Scrambler, the Monster, Hypermotard, Hyperstrada, the Diavel, 899, 1299, 1299 S and the Panigale.
