Expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

According to MB Passion, the upcoming Mercedes A-Class facelift will feature Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink compatibility with the onboard COMAND infotainment system.

It was earlier anticipated that the C-Class facelift (due in 2017) would be the model to first offer the smartphone integration services. Mercedes had also previewed Apple CarPlay in the current C-Class at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, which pairs the user's iPhone with the COMAND system.

Compatible systems will then display a filtered, driver-friendly version of the Apple iOS software, which shows text messages, navigation, music streaming as well as enable Siri from the paired iPhone. Same principle applies for Android phones with the MirrorLink compatibility.
