Expected to be revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Pre-production prototypes of the facelifted Lancia Ypsilon has been snapped testing, ahead of an expected premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show that opens on September 15.
Spyshots show test mules with the bumpers, headlamps and grille covered, suggesting that the mentioned components will undergo a redesign. Being just a facelift, it is expected to retain the characteristic shape and design that has a mixed reaction among long-time Lancia fans.
The interior is also going through a revision, as the report speculates that it will feature new materials and equipment. The interior spyshot reveals an infotainment display peeking through the covers, which could be powered by a version of Fiat's UConnect system.
In other Fiats, the Connect system offers TomTom satellite navigation (optional), handsfree Bluetooth, audio streaming, SMS reader, voice recognition, and connectivity for USB, AUX and iPod.

So far, there aren't much details on any revisions/addition to the Lancia Ypsilon's engine lineup. The current model offers a standard 1.2-litre 69 PS petrol engine as well as an LPG version of it, a 89 hp 0.9-litre TwinAir petrol, and a 95 hp 1.3-litre Multijet II diesel, all of which should be available on the facelift.
