No changes to the powertrain.
Audi India today launched the 2015 Audi RS7 (facelift) in Mumbai at a price of INR 1.402 crores, ex-Showroom, Mumbai and Delhi. The RS7, the most powerful version of the A7 Sportback, made its debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show in January 2013, following which an Indian launch took place in January 2014.
Last year, Audi updated the A7 and RS7 range with minor cosmetic revisions, the major change being the Matrix LED lighting system. A Singleframe grille with a honeycomb design, a redesigned airdam, LED bands for the brake lights and new colors are other changes Audi made to the exterior.
Inside, facelifted RS7 gets an updated MMI system with a better graphics chip from Audi's partner, Nvidia. A black interior with carbon inlays and aluminium finish are other changes seen inside the cabin.
Audi has made no changes to the engine of the RS7, which is a 4.0-liter V8 Bi-Turbo TFSI unit producing 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The drive is put through all wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The 2015 RS7 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds before hitting a top-speed which can be optionally increased to 305 km/h from 250 km/h. Thanks to a COD (Cylinder on Demand) system, the RS7 achieves 10.2 km/l under European testing conditions.
