No mechanical changes expected.
Avtomir, a Russian publication has come up with this digital mockup of the VW Vento facelift (what will be sold in Russia as the 2015 VW Polo sedan). The rendering is based on revealing spyshots of the Vento facelift in Russia which preview the changes in tow.
The Vento facelift will be given a triple-slat chrome grille, much like the facelifted Jetta for a more premium look. VW will also alter the hood of the sedan, as it will no longer feature a cutout for the 'VW' badge. Designers will ditch the circular foglight enclosures seen on the current Vento for rectangular ones resembling the Polo, while the airdam will get chrome highlights.
Spyshots have shown that the rear of the Vento facelift would get LED taillight enclosures, a new body-colored strip on the bootlid, and a redesigned rear bumper with a cutout for the tailpipe.
The interior of the sedan is not expected to see major updates as VW introduced a revised cabin on the 2014 Vento which went on sale in India in September 2014. A new instrument cluster, a new 3-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel and silver inserts for the center console were part of the update.

Likewise, the engines serving on the Vento in India would not see any changes. A newly-introduced 1.5 TDI, a 1.2-liter TSI paired exclusively with a 7-speed DSG and a 1.6-liter petrol are available on the sedan.
