The Stepway variant would also be introduced today.
Renault India will launch the Lodgy, its sixth product offering in the country, in New Delhi today. The Lodgy will be the first of two major launches by the French car maker for the Indian market this year, the other being the small car codenamed 'XBA'.
The Lodgy measures 4,498 mm in length, 1,751 mm in width, 1,697 mm in height and 2,810 mm in wheelbase. The MPV will be available in 7 and 8 seat configurations, the former getting Captains chairs with airplane-like foldable tray tables on the seatbacks.
Power for the Lodgy comes from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which like the Duster is available in two states of tunes - 85 PS and 110 PS. Similar to the Duster, the 85 PS variant is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission whereas the 110 PS model gets a 6-speed manual gearbox. The fuel economy figures are 21.04 km/l for the 85 PS model and 19.98 km/l for the 110 PS variant.
