PT Toyota Astra Motor, Toyota's Indonesian subsidiary, has launched the 2015 Toyota Camry (facelift) in the Indonesian market with prices ranging from 545.3 million IDR to 774.5 million IDR (INR 26.29 lakhs to INR 37.34 lakhs).
The 2015 Camry gets the new front fascia seen on the ASEAN model which was revealed last year. A large airdam combined with a new grille lends the Camry facelift an aggressive look. Further, the redesigned headlight enclosures house integrated LED daytime running lights.
Designers have incorporated LED taillights (for the top-end variant) and a chrome strip on the bootlid for a more premium look. New 17-inch alloy wheels complete the exterior round of changes on the sedan.
Inside, the Camry facelift gets a new wooden trim and softer leather for the seats. Toyota has included an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated GPS, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system on higher variants. The rear center armrest is integrated with a Qi wireless charging system as well.
The Camry facelift for Indonesia is powered by the same engines that will be offered in India. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine produces 181 PS and 233 Nm of torque, while the Camry Hybrid, powered by a 2.5-liter engine also, makes a combined system output of 205 PS. The Hybrid gets an e-CVT transmission whereas the petrol uses a 6-speed AT.
