Leaked patent drawings last week revealed the design of the 2015 Honda Jazz/Fit Shuttle. The second generation of the estate variant of the Jazz is expected to go on sale in select markets this year, and our artist, Shoeb, provides an early look of the car.
The front fascia features the "Solid wing face" grille, seen on the new City, and the headlights bear similarity to the Jazz and City. Parts like the front doors, wing mirrors, door handles and the front quarter glass seem to be shared with the Jazz.
Even the crease line running across the doors is identical to that of the new Jazz's. The taillights though are inspired by the Civic Tourer which is sold in the European market.
The new Fit Shuttle should better the older model's 590 liter boot. Its engine and gearbox options would mirror that of the new Fit's, which comes with 1.3- and 1.5-liter motors. A hybrid version with Honda's i-DCD (dual-clutch transmission) could also be in the offing.
The forthcoming Auto Shanghai 2015, which starts for the media on April 20, would be a good opportunity for Honda to showcase the Fit Shuttle, or even a concept previewing its design.

Given the non-existence of the station wagon segment in India, we don't see Honda Cars India considering this product for the country.
