Is confirmed for production.
The second Suzuki concept unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is a sub-4m SUV concept, called the Suzuki iM-4. Suzuki said development of the showroom model is underway, but did not state when it would go into production.
The design of iM-4 concept however looks production-ready. Highlights include a large grille that encapsulates the headlights; a conventional front bumper with fog lamps; and upright, taut design. At the side, we see the puffed-up wheel arches and diagonal vents on the C-Pillar. The concept also offers good clearance and commanding seating position - the credentials of an SUV.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-liter engine with brake energy recuparation. It is built on Suzuki's new generation platform and uses a four-wheel drive system.
Suzuki claims that iM-4 is “an iconic mini 4X4 which has a concept theme of “Shape of Inspiration”. The proposal is all-new and it is equipped with “4X4 DNA” and new technologies to give “real inspiration to drivers”.
