Could it be another Range Rover Autobiography Black from SVO?
TFL Car has posted a purported official teaser of the two JLR vehicles together that will premiere at the 2015 New York Auto Show that opens on April 1. The car on the left is the new Jaguar XF that will be shown prior to the exhibition on March 24, and the other is reported as an ultra-luxury version of the Range Rover.
While there are no details to report on the Land Rover, TFLCar says it will be the "most luxurious Range Rover ever produced”.
The car could be a renewed Autobiography variant made by the JLR Special Vehicle Operations team that is headed by John Edwards. During the commemoration of the 21st anniversary of the Autobiography variant last week, Land Rover said that future Autobiography models would have a customer commissioning suite for bespoke premium vehicle personalisation, flexible workshops and an automated paint facility, at a new technical center. The first fruits of this facility could be the NY Show exhibit.
The most opulent Land Rover was the Range Rover Autobiography Black from 2013, of which 100 units were made. Based on the long wheelbase specification, it let customers have their say in the colour of the leather and interior trim. Features included 18-way adjustable individual seats, 10.2-inch monitors, electrically deployable tray tables and refrigerator.
