Unveiled a few days before its debut here at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 2015 VW Sharan brings small but meaningful updates.
The MPV now features new LED taillamps new 'Jakarta' wheels, apart from which, the design remains unchanged. The significant changes happens on the inside. Firstly, the vehicle gets an 'App Connect' equipped infotainment system, which has MirrorLink - the ability to stream your smartphone's screen onto the display - compatible with both Apple Car Play and Android Auto, with better processors and high-res displays.
Engines now offer more power and efficiency than before, while the range consists of petrol and diesel engines with power ranging from 115 PS and going all the way up to 220 PS. All engines, except the base diesel, will be available with a 6-speed DSG transmission.
VW has also updated the MPV's safety systems. Optional assists now include Front Assist, Emergency City Braking, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, and the standard Automatic Post-Collision Braking system.
