Engines now uprated.
The 2015 VW Caddy has made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The refreshed version will be available for ordering this month, while deliveries are set to begin in June.
On the outside, the 2015 Caddy features new headlamps, grille, bumpers, and taillamps. The interior updates include a redesigned dashboard, new infotainment systems which are compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and MirrorLink i.e. the ability to stream smartphone contents off the phone's screen directly to the infotainment system.
Engines are now more powerful than before. The diesel engine line up consists of four 2-litre TDI units with power ranging from 75 PS to 150 PS. Three petrol engines - a base 1.2-litre TSI that makes 84 PS, a mid-spec 1-litre TSI which makes 102 PS, and a 125 PS 1.4 engine - are also offered. A 1.4-litre TGI (natural gas) unit, said to be 28 per cent more efficient than its predecessor, is also available.
Multi-collision braking comes standard, while adaptive cruise control, driver alert, City Emergency Braking, etc. are also available optionally.
