Gets an updated exterior design and equipment.
Honda has brought the facelifted CR-V crossover to the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show, which made its Thai debut at the 2014 Thailand International Motor Expo.
As previewed before, the new CR-V features a ‘Solid Wing Face’ grille, new bumper, and a redesigned set of headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. Changes at the rear include a slightly redesigned tailgate and a chrome strip.
Inside, the design remains largely unchanged. The facelift comes with a new 7-inch multimedia infotainment system with HDMI, and lane assist system and a three-angle reverse parking camera.
Engine options include a 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engines from the pre-facelift model. The range topping 2.4-liter engine is now paired to a CVT instead of a 5-speed AT. Customers can choose between FWD and AWD versions for their 2015 Honda CR-V.
The facelifted Honda CR-V will be introduced in India later this year, and like the current model, will launch through the CKD route.
