Gets a host of exterior and feature updates.
Daihatsu's Indonesian operations launched the 2015 Terios (facelift) last week. The Terios, which is nothing but the Toyota Rush, is now priced from 186.9 million IDR (INR 8.94 lakhs), and gets a host of exterior and interior changes.
All variants of the mini SUV will get projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, and a new triple-slat chrome grille. The top-end 'R' variant of the Terios facelift gets an aggressively designed front bumper and side skirts in addition to this.
The side profile of the Terios is given minor updates such as a chrome lining near the windows, a chrome accent for the fender and a small chrome element on the wing mirrors. Towards the rear, a new bumper, LED brake lights, a redesigned spoiler and antenna are the changes.
Inside, changes have focussed on making the Terios a bit more luxurious than the outgoing model. A piano-black dashboard and door trim, an all-new steering wheel and new seat fabrics freshen up the interior of the Terios. A new touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and GPS navigation is added to the list of features.

An area where there are no changes is the powertrain department. The Terios facelift continues to use the 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine good for 109 PS and 144 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. A lack of a diesel engine in the Terios and Toyota Rush is what prevents Toyota from launching the Rush in the Indian market.
