Latest XF will come with significant new changes over the outgoing model.

A couple of pictures of the next generation Jaguar XF were released this week, providing the first look at the design changes in store for the midsize sedan. The second shot reveals the dashboard of the new XF, featuring a new design and latest equipment. Here's a design comparison of the current XF with the next generation model.

Changes can be observed to the steering wheel, instrument cluster, glovebox and the center stack.

As is apparent, the dashboard design is nearly similar to the outgoing XF,  but the central HVAC vents will now be fixed above the InControl infotainment display. The driver and passenger side vents will retain the rotating motion. Jaguar has also moved the glovebox button from the dashboard to the glovebox itself, which is now opened via an handle.

The new XF will be revealed on March 24 in London, and displayed for public viewing at the New York Auto Show which opens on April 1.

The 2016 Jaguar XF interior seems to combine different elements from the company's current range into one package. The center console design looks identical to the smaller XE, while other familiar additions include an F-Type inspired three-spoke steering wheel, and an XJ-esque wood trim that runs in a continuous line from the door panels across the top of the dashboard. The instrument cluster is now a TFT display with a new graphic design.
