Available in three body colours.
The Tata Nano Twist XE, a base variant of the power steering equipped Nano Twist, has been introduced at INR 2.06 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The car is listed on company's website and is available in three colours, namely Meteor Silver, Royal Gold, and Serene White. It was expected to be launched last year, as the regular (non power steering) CX and LX versions were reported to be discontinued.
Positioned below the top-spec XT variant and at about INR 40,000 cheaper, the feature list for the Nano Twist XE is pretty barren in comparison. On the outside, it gets black bumpers, rear view mirrors, and door handles. Foglamps are no longer standard, and same goes for the full size wheel caps. It instead gets smaller hub caps. Other visible omissions include the chrome strip at the front, roof-mounted antenna, and rear spoiler.

While it brings power steering at a lower price, thankfully, the Nano Twist XE doesn't lose out on AC. Power windows, in-dash audio system, keyless entry with central locking, rear parcel shelf, etc. are confined to the more expensive XT only. It gets a black fabric + dashboard colour scheme, and still gets the dual glovebox and a 3-spoke steering. Mechanically it remains unchanged.
