Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV500 Xclusive edition priced at INR 14.48 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Mumbai. The company will only manufacture 700 units of the XUV500 Xclusive edition, which gets a host of new features.
An electric sunroof, a reverse camera, a voice-messaging system, aluminium pedals, grey alloy wheels, illuminated scuff plates, an anti-pinch driver window with 'express' up and down, optional 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a hydraulically assisted bonnet are the new features that are seen on the Xclusive edition.
The XUV500 Xclusive edition is based on the front-wheel drive W8 variant, which means features like 6-airbags, ESP, ABS, EBD, Hill Hold control and Hill Descent Control come standard, and as do features like a 6-inch touchscreen Infotainment System with GPS, DVD, CD, MP3, FM, USB, iPod connectivity, Micro Hybrid technology (Start-Stop), Automatic Temperature Control, Static-bending projector headlamps with LED parking lights, Cruise & Audio Controls on steering wheel, Rain & Light sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Power-folding and adjustable ORVMs.

Power continues to come from the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which is capable of 140 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
