Launch expected next month.
Ahead of a launch expected to take place next month, Hyundai Motor India Limited has revealed the first sketches of the Hyundai i20 Active, the crossover variant of the Elite i20. The i20 Active was spotted recently without any camouflage.
The front gets projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new bumper with a redesigned airdam and circular foglight enclosures, and a skid guard. Roof rails, increased ground clearance and side body cladding have also been included to give the hatchback-turned crossover a butch stance.
The rear sees a new bumper with circular elements for the reflectors, and a skid guard.
Power for the i20 Active will come from the same engines seen on the Elite i20. The petrol engine will be a 1.2-liter unit matched to a 5-speed manual transmission whereas the diesel is a 1.4-liter motor paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
